Chicks LOVE hair

My chicks are seven weeks old (eight weeks old Monday) and love to try and eat my hair. It all started back in the brooder days when I’d reach in there my hair would fall down and they’d peck at it. Now, when I go out in the run and sit down they enjoy eating my hair. They’ve started actually pulling it out. I have thick hair so a lot of the times I don’t even feel it. Should I stop them from doing this? Thanks!

I have one that tries to groom my hair. If you have love hair and they are pulling some out it could be dangerous if ingested

I had a dominique girl that loved to try and eat my hair - every time I picked her up she'd just peck and "smack" on my hair. She never actually pulled or succeeded at eating any, so unless they're actually swallowing I don't think there's any trouble
