Chicks Making Popping Noise

Okay, so one of the chicks that I said was making a small popping noise still has the problem. The chick eats and drinks fine, but when I pick it up and it struggles for a second to get away, I can hear her breathing. I can hear a pop when the windpipe opens to let air in.

Would this be normal? They still sneeze occasionally and shake their heads, but act normal — nothing really ever changes. It gets no worse, but not much better.

Well since it's happening when you pick it up I'd say you picking them up could be freaking them out.

Maybe you should not pick them up.

I try to handle them as little as possible — I just check to make sure their eyes and nostrils are clear.

They make drinking gestures and shake their head pretty often, but there is no sign of discharge anywhere. I’m just hoping that as they get bigger the problems will ease.

Oh ok I'm sorry I misunderstood.
If it's all the time something may be off.

Uploading a video is still not an option?

No, I could not get a video to upload, but I can get picture of them if you think you could tell anything. Also, temperatures are very low now.

What does that mean? The outside temps are low? The temps where the chicks are living are low? What is low?
My apologies for not clarifying. My chicks live in my garage, and the outside temps are low. By that I mean it is still 90° in two parts of the brooder, but it’s around 30-35° outside and in the garage.

The temps are lowered for them. They really don’t like the cold weather. I’m ready for warm, spring weather.

Did your chicks grow up okay? one of mine makes a popping noise only when I pick her up, and she's new. don't want her making the other one sick. But she runs around and eats and drinks and all the chicks in the brooder I got her from seemed healthy
