Hi,
I have moved my chicks after all eggs were hatched. All chicks are fine except one. It is not fit due to some issues on it's eyes.. there is a off white color layer on it's eyes.. not fully covered but partially.. what is it?? And what is the solution for this?

After moving these chicks to another cage, are they still need heat?? I moved them 5-6 hours later from last hatch..

Hi,
From my experiences with incubating, this can occur due to the change in heat especially if they are moved to a exposed area that can get a lot of drafts and stuff. So, make sure that chicks are still being kept at a good temperature. I use a heat lamp that is basically gives off the same heat as the incubator, but can be used outside.
Hope this helps

OK. I prepared a heat lamp for them. Thanks.
