chicks neck suddenly twisted downward!!

It’s very strange. She is behaving normally, walking around, hopping up and down off the plate. Preening, etc. then when she just jumped off the plate, she literally tucked and rolled forward, like she bent over completely forward. Otherwise, she’s totally normal. How weird!!!!

If you notice and start fixing it right away, it can be successful, but you have to follow through. If you stop or miss a treatment, it may never work and will only get worse

Yes. We had a quail that we had to cull because it developed wryneck after a few days


Did this one need assisting hatching? It's more common in chicks that were bent wrong in the egg

It may be Wry Neck. I would direct dose her with the Poultry Nutri-Drench 3-4 drops twice a day and see if that help.

nope, this literally just started a couple hours ago. No signs of anything previous, and she doesn’t seem to have any other issues now. Just a tweaked neck.
