Hiya!
It's my first time hatching and I'm currently panicking over my incubating eggs as a couple of days ago one was chirping and the egg was wiggling about but yesterday and today (so far) I've seen nothing. I'm worried that it may have suffocated although I know that usually they take a break before they actually hatch. There's been so signs of external pipping from what I can see though.

X2, what day are you on, and what breeds are you incubating? If there are non external pips you can quickly candle that one. It's probably fine. Hatching is very stressful, huh? Lol

It's about day 23, they're all like mixed breeds and I can't candle as the shell is too dark, aRgh! It's incredibly stressful haha!

Do you have a calibrated thermometer in your incubator? I'm guessing your temp was too low, and the chicks are overdue because they didn't develop fast enough. Built in ones are not accurate

I don't have a calibrated thermometer but that is an amazing idea, do you think it's too late to do that now?
