Chicks Not Hatching Even though Fully Developed

When you opened up those eggs that were fully developed, but failed to hatch, what position was the chick in? Was there a lot of liquid in the egg, any in the air cells, were the chicks large, and perhaps unable to move? Where was the chick's head in relation to it's body, and left wing? There's an article in the learning center that will help you diagnose the problem by doing an eggtopsy. Your dying in shell chicks could be entirely unrelated to the early hatches. You may have 2 different issues going on here.

They were all moist, and the air bubble was proper size and dry. All were in position to hatch, some even broke into the into the air bubble but stopped there. It was really odd and frustrating.
