i looked out and saw these kids still trying to squish up under their Mom's wings and it cracked me up.

Well, this is the first batch i've let her keep. She hatched out some D'Uccle eggs for me, then some bantam OEGB. Those got rehomed at about two weeks. These guys are seven weeks. i think she enjoys their company, actually. But it's funny to see them at night. They are literally up under her wings, and her wings are straight out to fit them in. i have to get a picture of that sometime.
