Chicks on my doorstep help me identify

The equivalent of chicks being left on my doorstep happened today and I’m not complaining. Technically they were given to a friend and I am the known crazy chicken lady. Anyways, any help or advice in identifying these chicks?? I know it’s too early for sexing probably but any info is helpful!

It's a bit early to say regarding either
My first instinct is black Australorp but I could be wrong, I am not the best (yet) at breed identification

In any case they're 100% adorable!

Could be a pure breed or a mutt. I'd repost pictures when they are about 6-8 weeks old for the most accurate breed and gender guesses.

I don't think Australorps usually have that yellow on their feet, or it would've been one of my 1st guesses as well.

They look like Jersey Giant chicks. I raised Black Jersey Giants from day one so I know what they look like.
Jersey Giant chicks have black with white chests. All 7 of the chicks I got looked like that so that is what I think yours are.

Thanks everyone, will hopefully be able to keep everyone posted. I did lose one last night but still have high hopes for the remaining despite it being on its own since it now has proper food/heater/water

Oh and I forgot to mention that Jerseys have black feet and beaks so keep an eye out for that.
