Chicks on scratch

My chicks are about 8 weeks old now. Is it ok for them to have the same scratch I give the older hens? The thing that really concerns me is the cracked corn that is in it.Thank you for your help!

At 8 weeks old, they can have a little scratch as a treat (the corn and/or grain, depending on what you feed). The stuff you should be concerned about is the laying feed. The extra calcium the big girls need is bad for chicks. If you give them the scratch, make sure they have access to grit. Good luck.
