Chicks outside toe turned out

I have some chicks that their outside toe is startin to turn out or kinda curl. Why is this happening? And can it be cured and prevented in the future.

you can make a boot take a circle of card board and thae sticky part of a band-aid cut off. Hold her toe right and place the sticky band-aid part over her foot so it holds the toe right it will strighten out...

oh make shure the card board is under her foot and the sticky sticks to the card board! lol

What causes this? They are 3 weeks old and it's just started.

im not shure but i read thats how to fix it so no help as far as preventing it but hope my post helps mabie use the search bar on the site tolook up twisted toe boot ECT. bump
