My chicks are very playful it seems. They run at each other and kind of bump each other in the chest while flying up into the air a little ways. Is that normal or are they fighting? They are only around 4 wks old so figure they are playing, testing one another, or a way of how chicks say hello? But 3 yellow keep tagging up on my lil black/brownish chic so wondering if they are trying to push him out of the crowd or just playing. They all hang out most of the day fine and sleep together. But very playful at times and they have all "grew" up together in the same brooder since day 2.

They're probably working out the pecking order. I wish I could see them! They sound very cute and funny!

That little brown and black one is probably just the low man on the pecking order. Keep an eye on her though to make sure the other chicks are letting her eat and drink.
Hope this helps!

I've noticed mine doing the chest bump too! Mine are about 6 weeks old. And today I found one of mine with a wound on his neck :/ little worried about this pecking order thing.
