chicks pooping blood

Yesterday I found one of my chicks dead. I didnt notice anything wrong with her. Another one of my chicks is just standing around not doing anything, but nothing is obviously wrong. Well I just noticed blood in the brooder, quite a bit actually but I cant tell who it coming from. They are about 5 weeks old. Help!

Sounds like it could be coccidiosis. You can give them sulphites for it, like Corid.

Yes, any feed store should have more than one brand on hand.

you will want to do it fairly quickly, as coccidiosis is treated fairly easily, but will kill just about every last one of them in a week if not treated ASAP...

it is probably not just one or two of them, but most or all of them, as cocci. spreads to each bird quickly.
