Chicks see the color red? Mine wont eat any red color bugs

Im just wondering because my chicks loves bugs but doesnt seem to notice (might not even see) or be interested in any of the red bug we find; Lady bugs and some other red beetle-like bugs that are numerous around my yard, she just ignores.

It may be instinctual. Bugs of certain colors are poisonous to certain animals.

You know, I was just thinking that. I was warned not to give her any black widow spiders and they have a red design on their backs. Could be she knows not to eat them already.

I think in the bug world red means, "I am poisonous".

I bought a chicken waterer and it happened to be red, had the hardest time getting them to drink from it, took two weeks and finally gave them no choice.

In the rooster world, RED means KILL and i know this because every time i bring fresh water out to my chickens.....My rooster lunges at the red bottom with his stumpy baby spurs. Freaks me out EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!
