Chicks sleeping weird on perch

I've got a few 3 week old chicks, I screwed a wooden perch into their bin today and now two of them are sleeping on it with their necks hanging almost down to the bedding, is this normal?

Yes. It may not seem comfortable to us, but I've seen my hens sleep like that on their perches from time to time.

Ok good, it does look very uncomfortable lol
