Hi everyone,

I have a question I have noticed a few chickens sneezing they are 5
weeks old today. I looked at each chick and I do not see any discharge
from their nostrils or their eyes. Everyone is eating and foraging
fine. They are almost completely feathered. Any ideas?

They're fine. Maybe it's just some dust that will go away soon. Good luck on raising chickens!

They are bigger now and kicking up more dust and spring is here...new things to smell and annoy the nose. My girls were sneezing when they spent the afternoon outside on Sunday...but a gentle breeze blowing was sending pollen everywhere.

if they are eating, drinking and poo is normal I would not worry. if they have any discharge or wetness in the nose or eyes then start watching them for possible sickness.

Good luck with them!

Thanks!! I just don't want to mess this up. And we have ducks coming next week!
