Congrats on the new babies!! You will want to do some reading in our learning center here on BYC for lots of tips and hints on raising your new babies, building the coop, and keeping your adult flock healthy and safe..

Enjoy those new babies and welcome to BYC!

Yes i have been drafting coop blueprints for a while now... i couldnt be more excited. The brooder i think we're going to use one of those interlocking cardboard pens ?? are those sturdy enough to last the 6 wks they will be in there?

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with your chicks! Those cardboard pens should work fine until about 6 weeks (just be sure you get one big enough), you will have to put something over the top of it when the chicks are around 2-3 weeks old or they will start flying out.
