Chicks Staying in Coop vs Being Outside

Question. I have 1 grown hen, 1 chick about 14 weeks, and 3 about 11 weeks. The last week my grown hen has stopped laying for about 4-5 days which is unlike her. I've also noticed that all 4 of the younger chicks have been spending more time inside the coop instead of out in the run like they usually do. Weather has been great, no predator problems, all seem to still be getting along when they are all together. I'm thinking the hen doesn't want to go lay because the babies are chilling inside the coop. Any guesses as to why they might be hanging out in there instead of outside? Again, no one seems to be stressed. They dust bath and play when they are outside. Thanks in advance! :)

I've noticed my grow outs (9 - 12 weeks old) have been hanging out inside when it has gotten warm and sunny. Once it cools down in the evening they head back out.

Maybe they're just comfortable in there? Any signs of lethargy or being puffed up or anything?

Doesn't seem to be! They all seem happy as can be. Just seem to be happy inside hahaha. Eating like crazy still and drinking like normal! I just hope they aren't preventing my Dolly from going in and laying haha!

I made the same post a week or two ago! 😂
My pullets went through a phase where they spent more time in the coop than the run. Just snuggling up to hang out and preen. I was reassured by the kind folks at BYC, and sure enough, they've started spending more time out this week. Like @2ndTink, mine get more active towards late afternoon.
