Chicks suddenly skittish of me?

I spend at least 5 to 10 minutes holding and talking to my chicks everyday, sitting in front of the coop. they would sit on my hands and let me pet and hold them. now, for the last two days, they keep running away from me, acting like i'm a monster...they eat from my hands still but when i try to pet one, its speeds off in the other direction, even the one who was the sweetest before. I have no clue why they suddenly turned so skittish, any ideas?

Are they somewhere around 2 weeks old? I call that the psychotic chick stage. They'll grow out of it again, just give them a few weeks.

they are around six weeks now, i hope they grow out of it. they are in a pretty sheltered part of my yard and there's really no predators around... so strange.

Maybe they're late bloomers. Everytime my chicks hit approximately the 2 week mark, they stampede and scream every time they see me. Fortunately they do grow out of that stage.
