I have 80 turkey chicks 40 hatxhed on 3/15 and 40 hatched on 3/21 and 50 brama chicks hatched on 3/17 and 80 quail 50 hatched on 3/12 and 30 hatched on 3/20

I have been giving them powdered 20% corid as a prevenative for 4-5 days now just in case to make sure they didnt get cocci i have been giving 1/2 teaspoon into each gal.
And i just went out there and there was bloody poop i have no idea from which chick it was red like really red with some poppy stuff to it.

Is 1/2 a teaspoon enough or do i need more in each gal. I have googled it and i cant find a dosage for chicks i dont want to give them too much but i think i am giving too little. I need a accurate amount to give of powdered corid.

Outbreak dose of Powdered Corid is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water give for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.

Do you have photos of the poop and brooders?
Are you brooding all those poults, chicks together?
They are all together. I dont have pics of the poop. I have been cleaning the cage out every other day
Thats for the dosage. i have been underdosing by alot then. Ive been giving 1/2 a teaspoon of corid

How large of an area are they kept? That is a huge number of poultry all together. I would worry about the small ones getting hurt. It seems that it would be hard to keep them from getting constantly exposed to coccidia in their poop. Pictures of the set up and their droppings would be helpful.
