Chicks this late in the year? Call me crazy

I guess I'm jst like a lot of you,lol. I'm hatching eggs for my brother. He bought some from e-bay. So far we have 11 out and 2 still pipping. Of course I had to add 4 of my marans eggs and some ee eggs. 2 marans are out and pipping and 1 ee has hatched. I have a dozen marans eggs in a carton that were to e shipped tomorrow,but will have to wait. Now you know I can't scramble up eggs meant for hatching. That would be monstrous,wouldn't it?

I wonder how many more I can "save" before this hatch is over and the baer is clean?

I have hatches going right now for an order of 50!! It's for a local person but it feeds my addiction that I can have the incubators running but also they leave as day olds!!! lol

I have a hen sitting on 13 eggs right now. Since the weather isn't so bad down here most of the year I think raising a few chicks this time of year would be okay. We'll see anyhow!
