Chicks vs Roos

I've got to move my extra Roos out of main coop for about 2-3 weeks until ready for the freezer.
I currently have a dozen chicks in the space I would place the Roos/brooder.
Question : can I put my 3-4wk old chicks into the main coop at these temps?
