can u crush regular layer feed and give to chicks

You could, but it wouldn't be good for them...too much calcium and not enough protein.

I feed the whole flock 20% Flock Raiser crumble full time,
with oyster shell in a separate container for the layers,
I do crush it up for chicks for the first week or so.
