Chicks, water and feed.

Do I have to add sugar to the water for coturnix quail? Like You sorta do for chickens? I have eggs peeping/pecking, I want to get the rest of the brooder set up

Now feed, Do I grind it up and put it on the paper towels? or what?

I add about a half cap full of ACV with the mother in it to a quart of water. as for the feed it does seem to help if you can grind the gbs up for the fist week or so and i jut put some on a paper towel around the feeder till they get the hang of it..

That is raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. You can get that at a health food or herb store. The "Mother" is all the unfiltered stuff that floats around in the vinegar. It is what has all the health benifits that make acv so good to use.
