chicks went out for first time!

It was warm enough to let the girls out in the grass for an hour on Saturday and an hour on Sunday. Now several of them have real dark liquidy poop. No behavioral changes though. They did fin some critters to eat though!

I would guess the darker poop is a result of eating grass/greens.

Yes, the poops would be because of the greens. If they are bloody, you have a problem, but chick poops vary so much that I wouldn't worry at all. Enjoy your babies!

I didn't notice actual grass eating but one got a newt and one a worm.
