So since we're getting all our chicks in winter we don'tn want the chicks in the house until their grown so when can we put the chicks outside? We'll make sure to put a heat lamp and keep them extra warm until their bigger but my mom is gonna want them out ASAP!

I put them out from the day they arrive or after all the eggs in the incubator hatch.
As long as you can keep a warm spot that's the correct temperature they can live anywhere.

Ahh OK, we'll keep them in the house prolly till their first feathers since its fun to have access to cute fluff balls!!
Thank you I will just keep the heater close to the ground and hopefully the coop will have a separated part for the chicks with extra insulation.
