Chicks with 5 toes??

No picture of the feet, but he seems to have some longish feathers on his head.

Yes, he's got some sort of a crest.
But head feathers and foot feathers are controlled by different genes.

Some breeds have both, some have just one or the other, and many have neither.

Rooster looks like he might be a silkie cross. Would explain the toes.

This feathered 5 toed chick is definitely the most independent of them all. She/he is all over the place! Hahaha Not sure if this is a better picture but I tried to include her toes, legs wings and beak as to maybe help with her traits. In my perfect world, it would be a she and she would be part Brahma. Unfortunately, I've lived in my world long enough to know it is rarely perfect

Also, it appears we have quite a few with 5 toes! That barnyard mix rooster must have one of the breeds listed above.
