OK I have some 5 day old chicks 2 brahmas and 2 bantams the little bantams have watery poop not colored just looks like water with some poop in it. They were getting nasty butts so I cleaned them off with a q-tip and warm water and put a little vaseline on the feathers under their vent so the poop won't stick. They seem very healthy and lively otherwise. Their mama is taking care of them very well. What can I do about the watery poop? Someone suggested putting very chopped up rolled oatmeal sprinkled in their food is this a good idea?

Keep it simple, feed them just chick starter and make sure they have plenty of fresh water.

They are not in a brooder the mama is raising them in our coop she is being a very good mama she keeps them nice and warm at night but also takes them around outside during the day I have her food and water/w/apple cider vinegar up high enough so they can't reach. I have theirs by hernest and one of each outside as well.

You know what it does look like the watery one on that chart it has been a little warm these last few days they may be drinking a lot ...I replace their water every morning and after noon but it is almost gonne when I replace it which I figured ws most likely some of the other girls grabbing a drink from the baby watered.
