Thanks everyone. You hear so much about chicks having to be kept at 90+ degrees for a certain period of time, I worry about them being warm enough. I lowered the temp in the room to 70, and put a few chicks under the brooder, and held them in there for a bit. By the time I left, there were a few hanging out under the brooder. They seem happy and healthy. No pasty butts this morning, so that tells me whatever was causing that has probably been fixed. I appreciate your responses, it's been a few years since I brooded chicks, and my memory fails me quite often!
