Hello, I have 15 chicks that turned 5 weeks old yesterday , is there anything I can try and do to get them to go out in the run, they stay in side the coop, most of the time, sometimes they make their way out in the (covered/ enclosed) run.
But the dont go out in the large run that I fenced off from the hens area. So the hens can see but don't touch, Should I just let time run its coarse?, I never had this issue with my other chicks that I integrated into the flock.
Any advice will be appreciated

I will attach photos of my set up
Thank you

This is the large run with a fence running through it to seperate the chicks from the hens

I have tried to toss scratch out there for them, with no luck, I don't want to close them out of the coop and freak them out
That actually might just be the right thing to do. Kind of like when your children want to stay inside and play too much, you just throw them out of the house and hand them 3 rocks, a stick, and soda-can, and tell them to go have fun for the next 4 hours in the backyard.
