Do I have to feed chick starter to my chicks until they're 18 weeks old? They are 8 weeks old.

I'd feed it as long as you can. What will you be feeding them afterwards

I feed mine chick feed for 5-6 weeks or until the bag runs out and then switch to an all-flock crumble.

You can continue with starter, or switch to grower, or switch to an all flock. Any of those will work.
