That's a great idea. I am going to put them in the coop tonight and watch them come out in the morning. It is a lot like their brooder except a lot bigger. They have been in a small portion of the run before but they have never come down the ramp. It should be quite a show.I would take them out during the night so they can grow accustomed to the heat.
Be sure they have plenty of deep shade and cool water. Have some chicken electrolytes on hand for emergencies.

With your temperatures being that hot, the chicks will be fine to go outside. It is even better for them not to be stuck inside, because the sooner chicks can build an immunity to outside sicknesses, the better. Which breeds did you get?

That is always good to help out the people around you! I assume you bought sexed pullets if you wanted eggs, then. Sexing chicks has only 80% or 90% accuracy when done by professionals, so please watch out for your Rhode Island Reds. Roosters of that breed are known to be very aggressive.I
