is there any easy way to sex a baby chick???or do i have to wait until it crows or lays lol

What breed do you have?

Some breeds can be sexed at birth by color or wing feathers. Others have to be vent sexed by a professional.

i have no idea what breed....its the one in my avatar...i got the egg at safeway

there is a way to sex them right when they come out of the egg. I've never done it. Its too late for that chick. You'll just have to wait and see if it starts to develop a comb.

for our jersey giants cochins silkies I can sex them at one day old I have been 90 % right on my polish
