These are my silky chickens. I just got them about 2-3 weeks ago. I think the mom was black and the dad was white--not sure though.

What do you think? Anyway to tell if they are boys/girls? Do they look like they are going to be blue? I'm really new to the Silky thing!

I'm no expert but I think the silkie in the second picture is a rooster. Again I'm not an expert so wait for someone who's more experienced than me to chime in

Silkies can be really hard to sex until they either lay an egg or crow. I don't have enough experience with them to even try but... I love the pictures.

Thanks, I don't have any kids, this is my friend's daughter.

I'm not for sure exactly how old, as I bought them off a lady. I got them about 2-3 weeks ago and the big ones were the size of the little one at that time. The little one was just a little nugget (like his name) when we got him.

I THINK the little one is about 3-4 weeks old, not sure though.

PICS--Thanks for the pic comments. I use Photoshop and I have an action that downsizes them and makes them sharp for the web.
