Our 3 week old chicks just had a field trip outside to a penned in area 6x6. The fun part was gathering all 13 up into a laundry basket for transport. I'd get 4 or 5 in there and go to add 2 more and 3 would fly out!This went on for some time as it was so hilarious. It was a thrilling experience for us all! Finally had my wife help me out and we made 2 trips outside. They were scared at first and then started having a party. I had built a 2 level "chicken gym" for them to play on and a box to hide in. They loved my gym as it has multiple levels of perches to roost on and take off from for flying lessons. We had them out for a few hours and just brought them inside for the day. They're all exhausted from the party!!
