Awww, such cute chicks! Are you keeping them inside in a brooder right now? It looks like they're enjoying themselves immensely!

YAY!!!! They are SOOOO cute!!! Looks like they are having a blast! I too made things for them to use like an old milk crate, big rocks, and roosts from tree limbs. It really makes them happier than just a block of grass....though they still can do a lot with just that! LOL! Your chicks are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!!! Keep us posted if....I mean, WHEN you make things bigger! HAHAHA

They are still living inside in a brooder made out of 2 very large boxes taped together. About 2'x10'. I'm waiting for our 4 Nite Gards to arrive from Amazon on Wednesday before they go outside to the coop. We are both quite nervous about this huge move! And so are the chickies. We have 12 girls and one guy named Lucky. 5 weeks old.

I like the idea of the two boxes taped together and the new coop is wonderful! Love it! Will you add a run to the side of it or will they roam free?

We just got back from TSC with a 10x10x6 dog kennel that I will be attaching to the side of the coop this afternoon. I also have a much larger run fenced in for when they get older and I know that the predator situation is under control. I have 4 Nite Gards coming Wednesday to do that.
