Hi all! My hubby is building our 1st coop (which is turning out to be a Palace!). We live in Parker like many of you. I'm coming in to learn all about it! Super excited to get going - more soon I'm sure.

Welcome to BYC! Thanks for joining us! Please give each of your new chickens plenty of coop and run space! For coop space, I'd say 3 square foot per bird. For run space, (if you plan to free range them, this will not be an issue) a minimum of 10 square feet per bird. Good luck on your coop project!

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of the coop build or your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Why people don't put at least their state is a mystery to me. Parker, everybody is supposed to know where this is???
