Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

(Ioan's got his own house nearby, and I didn't plan on having Anne stay, but Emily is :p I guess I makes sense for her to.)

"That's cool. So if one of you gets mauled in the night by a creature gone savage, there's another close by to take the reins." Alexis broke into a grin to let him know she was just messing with him, though with the recent incident, that actually was a possibility.
(lol, ok, he doesn't know that though)
Michael glanced to Dimitri then got up to check on the tiger "Yeah, one would hope so anyway." He said then smiled at Alexis again. She seemed to be a good kid and he didn't mind talking with her.

Zaine chirped in reply to her excitement. He never really considered his owl—or any owl, for that matter—fluffy, but now that she pointed it out, maybe so.

(Aw i love owls. We have a couple barred owls that live in our woods and they call to each other each night. Sounds like monkeys hollering at eachother  )

Lyra scooched her but across the floor to sit closer to him. She reached out her hand slowly, hoping he didn't decide to bite her. But she really wanted to run her fingers through is feathers, it was rare to be able to do that. But she hesitated, wondering if perhaps she should be polite and ask first. In the end she chose to be polite. "May I pet you?" She asked quietly looking him in his large owl eyes.

(They are pretty neat. At the place I helped at they had five permanent resident owls, Snowy was mostly blind, the others had one thing or another wrong with them. They had this tiny little own that lived in their bathroom named chatterly, he could fit in your hand. )

(I know, I was just letting you know so you'd know ;) )

Alexis draped her leg across the arm of the chair and leaned back with her head against the wall to stare at the ceiling, only to find the lights too bright and turn her gaze elsewhere. "Does this incident make you wish you'd thought twice about coming?" She asked after a rare moment of silence.

(She's not letting him get any work done, is she  Maybe Dimitri staged the whole thing just to get knocked unconscious and away from her rambling for a bit :lau )

Zaine stepped towards her, the sound of his talons clicking on the linoleum made louder by the empty hall. As long as she didn't try to pluck him, he didn't mind her touching him.

(That's so cool! What breed was the little one?
I can hear the barred owls making their ruckus right now outside my window  )

(lol, he's sort of working while talking.)
Michael went back to his desk, looking at the next slide to see if that treatment would work on this odd virus before looking back to her again. "Oh, no. I like being busy, especially with something new like this."

(I am pretty sure he was an eastern screech owl, tiny little bugger. There was a barred owl he had his perch onto of the book shelf. And his neighbor on the other book shelf was a great horned owl. They liked to talk to each other. Snowy because she was partially blind was a bit unpredictable which was why she had a flight outside. There was also Athena and Apollo, two red tailed hawks each missing a wing. )

Lyra reached out again and gently brushed her fingers across his feathers. She smiled, "They are so soft, I don't know what I was expecting to be honest. Must be nice to be able to fly, have that kind of freedom. Most I can do is climb trees and spray people, not exactly the same." She said with a snort as she scooched closer and ran her fingers down his back.

William sat up and watched her as she waded into the water, she seemed calm and collected. That made him happy that she was so comfortable around him. He got up and waded into the water after her, not to play or anything just to sit next to her in the warm, gently lapping waves.
Leah looked over to him, smiling timidly. She thanked quietly “Thank you for taking me here. It’s beautiful. And I enjoyed our kiss.” She reached over to touch his shoulder softly, admiring him silently.

"Are you the kind of guy that's going to need a restraining order because he overworks?" Alexis asked. "Just curious. I'm not like a secret agent for the FBI or something that's out to get ya."

(Aw :love Owls are really quite cute. How do hawks lose wings??)

Zaine wondered if Lyra had felt strange, not being able to talk when she was a skunk. Even though he didn't talk much as a human it was nice having the option.
