Samantha watched the deep red liquid run down the inside after she set the glass down. "You sure synthesize well," she said, as much as a compliment as she was capable of giving. "Tastes like human." She rested her elbows on the table as she leaned forward a bit. "Care to taste?" She said, grinning darkly at Liam.

"Not necessarily," Zaine said, shrugging lightly. "A lot of people go there but not to read, which is unfortunate for those of us who do go there to read." He glanced down at her. Noted her deep breaths. When he realized why, he immediately slowed his gait.

Harper smiled pleased that Sam liked it and mentioned that it tasted just like human. That was a compliment indeed considering she had worked on that project herself. "Well if you need more let me know, also its always down here so just find Liam or myself and we can get it for you anytime." She said with a nod and smile. Harper saw Liam face when Sam offered, "Liam don't, just don't." She said with a shake of her head.

Liam looked to Harper like it was a challenge and he reached for the glass and took a swig of the remaining contents. He made a face but swallowed the whole mouthful. "Yeah tastes very bloody." He said with a grin as he shuddered.

"Thanks for that, short legs." Lyra said with a grin as she nodded in agreement. "Well I suppose your right there. I tend to ignore those people when they come in, but I hear you. You know if you prefer to walk faster I could always ride around on your shoulders." She offered then realized he probably didn't realize she was talking about in her animal form. "As a skunk I mean, not human." She said as her cheeks flushed bright red.

Ryker worked to open both nubs and ready them to accept the wings again. After placement and aligning the bones, he used stainless steel hardware to secure the bones. Then moved on to the soft tissues such as tendons and arteries. Once he got the blood flow going, the wings took on a healthy color once again.

Anuerin knew the pain well enough that his mind convinced him he was experiencing it in every sense, even when his back was numbed for his comfort.

Aralyn heard voices approaching the lab. She ducked her head and quietly hid behind the nearest corner.

Her eyes widened slightly in surprise when Liam not only took the glass, but finished off the blood. "Man, you got guts," she said, chuckling as she watched his face distort in disgust. "If you can down that, then you're surely capable of taking the pure stuff, which is even better—no offense, Harper."

Zaine flushed at her comment, but regained his composure when she clarified. "You could, but then I wouldn't have anyone to talk to," he said, with a shrug.

"I will definitely take you up on that offer," Sam said, glancing Harper's way. It was good to know where it was, too, if neither of the assistants were down here. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise when Liam not only took the glass, but finished off the blood. "Man, you got guts," she said, chuckling as she watched his face distort in disgust. "If you can down that, then you're surely capable of taking the pure stuff, which is even better—no offense, Harper."

Zaine flushed at her comment, but regained his composure when she clarified. "You could, but then I wouldn't have anyone to talk to," he said, with a shrug.

Harper smiled, "None taken. now if you will excuse me chatty kathies I need to finished cleaning." She said as she grabbed a rag and chucked it at Liam before getting finished up with her cleaning.

Liam chuckled a bit and tossed the rag back to Harper. "No thank you I think I will pass on the real thing. I will leave the blood drinking to you, maybe you should just get a walking blood donor. Just find someone who doesn't mind you snacking on them, have 'em sign a waiver and then your good!" He said like he had come up with some sort of genius idea.

Lyra nodded, "Yeah that would be no fun, I'll just walk faster." She said realizing they were both completely red faced from her stupid comment. "So why are we looking for this guy anyways?" She asked to move past the embarrassment.

Lyra smiled, "well that is good of you, and it makes more sense now why were looking for him. I hope they work things out, whatever their problem was. I hate seeing people fight, even when I don't know them." She said with a frown, it was in part why she didn't do well at Rykers.

William came into the clearing around the small pool of water, well this place was a find. He saw a reasonably flat rock by the water and moved to sit on it, he took her hand as he did and pulled her down next to him. "You found us a great spot, its beautiful." He said smiling down at her, he could tell she loved the place too.

Leah sat down next to him, looking around in wonder. She replied absentmindedly "This place is beautiful. Your idea was great." She stood up to go wade in the water a bit, going to the center of the pond, where the water reached her elbows.

Lucy, determined not to let him score the next point, glanced from him to the puck. "I keep getting downgraded," she muttered, shaking her head at what he'd called her.

(Ok then....this world is weird.) Victor chuckled at that, responding "What, want me to call you Fabulous God-Like Girl or something? Feel like that would be a bit annoying too, wouldn't it?"

Claire woke up from her nap, listening to the people talking outside. She recognized Eirik's voice, but not the other female. Once being set free was mentioned, she instantly became more interested, silently observing what was said.
