Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Emily pulled the door shut behind them and continued. "Staff rooms are all on the same hall at this next turn, so it's not too far from where you'll be working," she explained. She pulled a key on a colored cord from her pocket as she soon came to a stop. "We're not mingled with the students' dorms, I suppose to maintain professional distance and possibly for our safety," she said with a shrug. That was the sad reality of their job. These students had the potential to be extremely dangerous, as today had well proven. She unlocked the door she had stopped at and pushed it open for him. "Welcome home, Dr. Young."

( @Run Wild since there has been no specifications otherwise, I'm just going to make up layout as I go :idunno Correct me if you don't like something)
Michael smiled again, following her to his new room. "Makes sense, wouldn't want them to feel like they are under guard 24/7 by being right there with them." He said, the safety issue was also a relevant point. "Thank you" He said before going inside and setting his bags down to look around the room curiously.

Areum nodded understandably, before reaching over to kiss him. She observed after they had pulled away light-heartedly, "I want to keep both of us alive and safe. Especially since you're the alpha and all."
Rowan brought his hand up to rub against her cheek. She didn't understand what he was trying to say, but he could cool down now and just be beside her.

Emily set the key down on a table. "I'll leave you to settle in here," she said, turning to leave. There were a couple students that wanted to talk about something earlier so she wanted to go find them. Wouldn't it be great if there was an intercom system; then she could just buzz who she liked rather than having to walk all over the place searching. "Dinner starts being served at 5:30 in the cafeteria, and so long as you're there before 7, you'll get a hot meal. But the doors are open 24/7 if you just want a quick snack or feel like making your own food—which, if I'm not mistaken, quite a few students have already helped themselves to the latter option." She probably ought to stop by there too and make sure no one had branded themselves or burnt the kitchen down.

(Where's Casey? And was it Andorra or Amara who was with him?)
(I know RW's got the school, but @NickyKnack you've got the cooks, so how does what she said sound?)

Anuerin waited patiently as Ryker moved around the room. He figured the surgery was over, but didn't ask questions fo confirm his answer incase he rather not know. He felt relief fill him as his father helped him into a sitting position. It was over. His head lowered and he suddenly found it difficult to meet Ryker's gaze. He worked hard all these years to hear those words, but spoken aloud, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He made his father proud.
(Bumpity bump bump bumpity bump bump look at frosty go...)

"I wouldn't be the one to fail." Asa muttered knowing Ryker couldn't hear him.

"Better than I have in a long while." She answered with a sigh of contentment.

(I found my post. I don't think you replied to it, Hooded Huntress. I looked for you're reply but didn't see it, but it's possible I missed it.)

(I am feeling inspired today! Lets get this party started with four character posts :jumpy)
"Of course." Cyra answered with ease, an ease that didn't reassure Ioan like she had hoped. "What were you doing today between 2 and 3?" He questioned her gently. Cyra looked up in thought, not trying to figure out what she was doing at that time, but remembering what Indigo said she was doing then. "I was here, in my room. Indigo was helping me work through the problems I've been having in math." She carefully overlooked his features, trying to decipher whether he believed the lie or not. "Thank you, Cyra," He said after some silence. Ioan sighed sortly, not hearing what he expected to, but it was obvious he believed her word. "That's all I needed to know."

Ioan stood, hesitant to leave. He was convinced she wouldn't lie to him, yet he felt that Cyra knew something he didn't. He wondered what questions to ask for her to give him the information. Cyra had always been open to talk with, eager to help in whatever way she could, but since her attack she been moody and closed off. This was the first time he'd since a glimpse of her easy-going character. Ioan stooped at the door to pick up a white envelope that laid there. He opened the seal with a powerful sense of curiosity of the letter inside. He only registered a few random written words when Cyra pulled it from his hand. "Um, that's a letter.. from my boyfriend. We're very close, if you understand what I mean." Cyra explained with a furious blush. Ioan suddenly felt a little foolish. If they were really as close as she said he definitely not want to see what things were written about her in that letter. "Of course." He said abruptly as he waved her goodbye and slipped out into the hall.

Amaryllis' breathing faltered with waves of pain. She lowered herself and waited for the pain to be replaced with the refreshing feeling of strength that she was beginning to know. The moist air filled her lungs and she breathed deeply as the water absorbed into her skin and purified her physical form. She felt reborn. No words described the pure joy experienced deep in her inner being. This was what she always wanted; to feel strong and capable like everyone else. Even if it wasn't permanent.

Aralyn disagreed with her actions to the point of feeling sick deep in the pit of her stomach. They worked together once, they weren't even friends, and, yet, when she heard of Leverett's fall she felt a twinge of unfamiliar emotion, one powerful enough to overcome her instincts. She hesitated in front of the lab door. She ignored the whisperings that told her to leave and braved a quiet knock. No answer. A challenged sigh and she tried again, this time a succession of audible knocks.
(Ladies, I'm not trying to push y'all at all, I'm just resurfacing all these posts for easier accessibility ;) )
