Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Iris looked at her with a smile, before retorting "Yeah, I'm really busy too, so we'll have to see." After letting that string of jokes pass, she added "Well, there was a girl with this purple-pinkish hair that exited the basement area. And she looked like she had no idea where she was going."
Atalanta picked through her food, eating a few select bites before pushing the plate aside. "You mean she escaped? Or was she just let out?" She asked. Smirking, she added, "There is a difference."

Ellie looked at the berry for a moment before taking it and eating it. "Perhaps, but I you'll never know. because as you pointed out I won't admit to it. " She said with a chuckle as she straightened in her seat to face him again.

Lyra attempted to hastily fix her hair as she moved to sit on the bed. "Yeah we were up for quite some time last night. But I honestly don't mind, the company is nice, and she needs it right now. I am happy to help her." She told him simply with a smile. "And your welcome in my room anytime, you know that I told you much the same yesterday."
Nick rolled his eyes at her point. "You're not denying it," he said, chuckling softly as he searched for another berry to bribe her to stay with.

Zaine tried, and failed, to look relaxed and not nearly as self-conscious as he was at the moment. "I'm a little concerned what will happen when she runs into Dimitri, which is inevitable since we're all confined here, but it's good knowing she's started the morning off cheerily," he said, keeping the conversation on the third party for as long as possible. Rather than sitting, since he still hoped Alexis would be back soon, he leaned against the wall near the door. "Thanks, that's kind of you," he said blandly.

Irene smiled and capped her water and said, " Yes, a lot better, thank you. I find I'm liking being here, actually. My cell has now windows and this place is made of them."

"So somehow this is my fault? But yet you who have low standards, is blameless? " Ashton asked with a surprised look. She shook her head and grumbled, "How male of you.

" Yes, we should probably start back. " Dyrus said with a bit of reluctance. This day had been so nice and was a welcome break from the mansion.
"Oh?" Priam listened with interest to her opinion of the lab. It had been a while since he had gone near the cells, so if this was that much of an improvement, he didn't want to imagine what was going on there. "Do you know yet where you'll be put when you've recovered fully?" He asked.

"No, ya frog," Allen said, reaching back to tousle her hair. "I—never mind. Come on, we should probably get inside. Is your humble servant going to be allowed to eat with you, or is it back to the pens for me?" He said, giving her a lopsided smile.

Haley slipped his arm over her shoulder as they walked. "It's been a perfectly lovely day," she said, smiling up at him. "I don't think I've had such a pleasant one in, well, years."

"What do you want me to do when they come?" Cyra looked to him willing to do whatever he asked of her.

Amaryllis became quiet for a very long time. "Ryker took his wings in anger; he wanted to hurt Anuerin; his wings were one of the only things that brought him joy so it was easiest way to hurt him." Amaryllis spoke up finally, not having the words to explain everything, but what was important in relation to his question. "I think Ryker is trying to earn Anuerin's trust, but ever since his mother abandoned him he's afraid of getting hurt. People have always taken advantage of the little trust he offers them, and that makes it harder for him to open his heart." Her voice softened sadly at the mention of his past.

"That's horrible," Emily said, shaking her head slowly, saddened that after all these kids had gone through, they couldn't even be kept safe in this place. "Were the camera's wiped as well?"
"Yes." He answered finally. He starred across the room, at nothing particular, lost in thought. "I don't know what to do." Ioan admitted. "Maybe I shouldn't have released Cyra. She healed, I thought.. I didn't realize this thing could spread. I should have looked harder to figure out who hurt her, maybe Dimitri wouldn't have been hurt if I had." Ioan rubbed his head to relieve pressure, but his headache only intensified. He knew he spent every minute of the last month searching for the person that attacked Cyra, but he stilled blamed himself for it happening again.

Victor discarded the granola wrapper and yogurt container, and opened his window, making sure his door was locked before he shifted so nobody could see the opened window, at least from the inside. He shifted into his vulture form, which could barely fit into the frame of the window, before taking off, looping upwards towards the roof before rotating himself to the city's direction, which he presumed was southwest.

After a few minutes of flying near trees to avoid being spotted by any cameras, the vulture lifted himself up, carrying by the wind, moving him upwards, higher into the bright blue sky of the morning. He instantly lost himself in the blue void of the sky, the blur beneath him a flurry of green and brown, all racing to be the dominant hue in the vulture's vision.

As the first houses appeared before him, Victor slowed and rolled to the right, as that is where he remembered the elderly couple from his last visit lived, with the untidy lawn that had a sign that read "Help wanted".

Victor landed in a clearing half a mile away from the neighborhood, making sure no hunters, children, or forest people were around when he shifted. His mind, which had overlooked the forest as a blur of colors, picked up every minuscule detail of the house. It was an old-fashioned German house, with a deep brown wood, which had split and splintered at some parts with age. An old car, most likely at one point blood red and a car that turned heads was now a rusty brown. He noted the mailbox, a peculiar thing which stood out of the ground, shaped like what he presumed to be a chicken, his suspicions answered when he noticed the chickens in the backyard clucking in the tall grass. With a sigh, he entered the driveway, raking his hair to the side with his hands to appear more sophisticated, and rung on the doorbell. He didn't matter how long it took, but he was buying Lucy that necklace.

Atalanta picked through her food, eating a few select bites before pushing the plate aside. "You mean she escaped? Or was she just let out?" She asked. Smirking, she added, "There is a difference."
Iris had already finished her food, and wiped her face neatly with a napkin, before responding after some thought "You know what, she probably escaped, because she had no idea where she was going. She probably doesn't have a room or anything yet."

"If she isn't fully rid of the virus, it it wise to let Dimitri loose so soon?" Emily asked. "I'd hate to confine either of them, but if they could potentially injure others and infect them, perhaps it would be best."
