Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Amaryllis stood to go to Haley's room, longing for someone who would listen to her. She felt tears beginning to fall at the thought of what Anuerin might do when she left him. She needed Haley's advice, she didn't know what she should do. "Haley?" She called softly, as she reached the open door of Haley's room. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt." She said sincerely as she shied from the door.
Ashton snorted at Allen.
~~~
" The appearance of the girl was of no relevance to me, getting to you was." Dyrus said without turning to look at Haley. When Amaryllis arrived, he said to her, "You're not interrupting, I was quite done here. I'm sorry about Anuerin, I hope he finds his way." He then walked away with Vasper by his side.
Allen ignored her now as he finally began eating. "So, Gideon, What were you crossed with, again? I can't recall if you mentioned it."
-----
Haley sighed, slightly exasperated as he walked away. Not only did she not get he information she asked for, but now he was leaving. She turned her attention to her friend. "You're not interrupting," she said gently. "Are you okay?"
Amaryllis glanced from Dyrus to Haley. "No." She answered very quietly as she looked to the ground. "Can we talk?"
Haley looked Dyrus' way once more before lightly placing a hand on Amaryllis' shoulder. "Is in here fine?" She asked, with a nod towards her room.
"Yes." Amaryllis replied, brushing away the tears running down her cheeks. She entered the room farther than just inside the door.
Dimitri smiled widely and nodded pointedly at Amara's observations.
"Aren't you an insightful ole bear," Alexis said thoughtfully. She wasn't so sure at first, but now she quite liked Amara. The girl seemed lonely but nice.
"Do you know how many times I got shot at when I lived my time as a bear in the forest? At that time being a tabby cat would have been nice. It was during that time I realized how much hatred and angry humans have as a species, its why I stayed out there. You two are the first people I've really connected with since then, and I want to thank you both for being patient with me and for being so kind." Amara said thoughtfully absently rubbing her scar again. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad, she could rebuild her life her she thought.
Lilith nodded, and started to fly, holding his hand as they did so. As they flew to the roof, Lilith looked at the landscape around them, smiling. Once they got there, she let him sit down first so she could be next to him.
Maddox sat down once they got to the roof and looked out over the horizon and the tree tops with a sigh. He held his arm wide for Lilith to sit down next to him as he wrapped his arm around her. All was right in his world even in this terrible place. He may not have wanted this to happen to him but if it hadn't he never would have met Lilith, and now he couldn't imagine a life without this or her. "Did you know I grew up homeless, a street kid? I don't know if I ever told you about my life before all this." He asked quietly thinking back on that time.
Lilith sat down and eased into his embrace, resting her delicate face on his right shoulder. She looked up at him as he talked, her eyes attent to what he was saying. She grew a bit saddened at his story, and asked quietly "Maddox, that's horrible. I'm so sorry. What was it like?"
