Amara reached out and squeezed Casey arm in thanks for being patient with her. "Sorry about that." She whispered quietly to him. She glanced over to Willow and Adrian who seemed to be talking quietly about something. She figured they needed a minute so she turned to Casey. "You don't think I ruined my first impression do you?"
Casey smiled at her and shook his head. "No, I don't think you ruined it, they seem to understand about being shy."
"Oh? Well it did. My "big personality " wasn't a problem when we meet. In fact you seemed to like it just fine, up until just now. I don't know if I can forgive you, Adrian. You made me feel judged and I don't like how that makes me feel." Willow said with a pout. She looked to Amara and Casey as the thought over what to do. She then turned back to Adrian and said, "I'll let you still braid my hair, just don't make me regret it." She then chanced a small smile of forgiveness.
Adrian felt terrible he had ended up putting his foot in his mouth and making this beautiful wonderful woman feel like he was judging her for the very thing he loved most about her. "I was not trying to judge you Willow, and your personality is one of the things I love about you. Your bold and vivacious, which are both things I love, all I meant is that can sometimes be too much for someone so shy and nervous. I was not saying it as a negative but I realize now trying to explain it in the way I meant it in my head it doesn't seem to come out right. So again I apologize and hope that I can earn my way back to forgiveness. Where are your hair supplies so I can get started?" He asked with a sigh, realizing that he was probably just making it worse trying to explain it in the way he meant it.
Adrian turned to Amara and Casey to see if they wanted to be included in their hair braiding party in an attempt to be friendly and put an end to his blunder. "We were going to have a hair braiding party you want to stay and join in?" He asked them curiously as he got the brush and ties that Willow had directed him to.
Amara looked at them and then to Casey, he didn't have any hair to braid but she did. "I would like that very much." She replied to Adrian before turning to Casey. "Do you know how to braid hair and want to?" She asked him realizing she had accepted without asking him first.
