Andorra turned to look at Alexis stunned. "The principal's office?! Who did he try to eat now?" She asked quietly.

"Um, no one actually. He threw a wad of paper at the teacher," Alexis explained. For the sake of her conscience, she then added, "I feel partially responsible because I slipped him a note, which is what he then threw."

Leverett frowned as two of Ryker’s men came and collected Helen. As he came over to inquire as to what was going on, another stopped him short. The large man looked to him with cold eyes and informed him, "There has been a change in plans. You are being partnered with another. They'll be here shortly. The mission remains the same, just the components have changed. "

"But why? What did we do wrong? " Leverett asked quietly.

"Her loyalties were in question. Ryker needs this mission to succeed, at all costs. Understand? " The large man asked with a menacing tone.

Leverett averted his eyes and nodded obediently. "Yes, I understand fully and I will not disappoint him. My new partner, what is their name?" He asked with concern.

"Aralyn" He said darkly.

Leverett looked up at the man with wide eyes. "Oh?" He squeaked out.

Aralyn walked purposely towards the men. She stopped and stood before Leverett, overlooking him judgmently. She turned towards the large man with a sigh of irritation. "Is this the man Ryker has chosen as my partner?" Aralyn asked gazing back to inspect Leverett once more. "He hardly seems capable of completing the mission." She finished in a doubtful tone.

Haley slipped towards the door and hopped out, then held out her hand to help Amaryllis down.

(Just realized today that amaryllis is a kind of flower)

Aneurin moved forward to peer around the corner of the building which surrounded them. He remained there a moment before walking into the open and gesturing that the girls followed as he straightened the heavy backpack which he carried from both shoulders.

Amaryllis gratefully took Haley's hand as she carefully stepped down. She looked to Haley with a quiet smile before leaving to follow her brother.

(I didn't know that either, only that the name Amaryllis means to sparkle.)
