Laurel shied, at first, from the stranger, before meeting his gaze and replying honestly: "I dont know.. I believe was suppose to get a second dose of medicine. I didn't know this until Madison said so. I think that I was suppose to receive this medicine with my meal, but there was none. Madison blames the cook." Laurel explained, hesitant to answer as she feared her word might get the cook punished. "I don't want to cause any trouble." Laurel assured him, not wanting anyone to be hurt for this mistake. She knew she had been punished many times for a simple mistake, and didn't want to do the same with another.

"Getting a ride to the hotel." Aralyn replied, cringing at his ignorance.

Laurel kept silent until the men left. She walked to the doorway where Madison stood. "Who was he?" She asked in curiosity.
 
(So, I know I left this a while back, but I'm considering rejoining. Not sure though. Is there any possible way to quickly summarize what has happened so far? Haven't even joined again yet and I'm probably already annoying you. XD)
 
"And, that's a good thing?" Amaryllis questioned, curious of the reason for her opinion.
"Yes," Haley replied. She then explained, "If it rains, it will 1: hopefully delay Ryker--er, your father--from sending men out immediately when he finds we're gone, and 2: cover our tracks and scents, if dogs are sent with them. Of course, we'd have to travel in the rain, but when you weigh out the pros and cons, I think I can bear a little water."
