Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

"Yes." Amaryllis replied, brushing away the tears running down her cheeks. She entered the room farther than just inside the door.
(sifting through 40+ posts *sigh*)

Haley closed the door to give them some privacy to discuss things. "Amaryllis," she said gently, "What's up?" She took a seat on the corner of the bed, motioning for Amaryllis to sit as well.

Amara was surprised a bit by his reply although she probably shouldn't have been. He had been nothing but kind and genuine since she had met him. "I am glad to call you friend as well, probably my first and only friend in some time. Now that were friends and all I do wonder something, who do you think would win in the wrestling match your tiger or my bear?" She asked with a grin, a touch of her old humor slipping through now that she was more comfortable with him. And in truth she truly was curious who would win, and it was funny to think on.
Dimitri laughed out loud, then regretted it immediately as the teacher gave him a hard look. He then whispered the facts to her. " The average weight for a female bear sow is 158-175lbs whereas the average weight for a Siberian tiger male is 700 lbs. With the weight difference alone, it would be a hard win. Let's hope it will never come down to that."
"I'll be referee and Dimitri would win, but certainly not because I'm referee," Alexis chimed in, whispering so as to not distract other students.

"I meant as a friendly wrestling match not like a fight to the death. And yes I know the facts and numbers would be against me but I could win. I've got the scars to prove I'm a fighter, and I'm not an average size either. I'd bet i could give you a run for your money." Amara whispered proudly yes she would probably still lose but she would do so with style she thought. And maybe she could team up with Alexis and they could take him down she thought with a smile.

Gideon had dished him some food and came to sit beside Ashton. " A North American opossum." He replied eagerly as he looked to Allen happily.

Ashton took that opportunity to steal a sausage link from his plate. Gideon looked at her with a raised brow. "Hey!! There's a whole pan over there full of them, you know?"

"Yes, but yours taste better." Ashton stated matter-of-factly.

After a bit of the silent treatment, Vasper finally asked, " What was that back there?"

"Leave off it Vasper!!" Dyrus growled at the question.
"Opossum was an interesting choice, but I guess Ryker had particular reasons," Allen said, shrugging slightly. He watched the interaction with amusement for a moment before continuing eating his own food.

Victor nodded, and replied "Let's do it. Favorite American author?"
Lucy frowned in thought. She wasn't much of a reader, so it took her a moment to conjure up her lame answer. "Dr. Suess? I don't know. I never read much, other than the few books forced on me out of necessity. You got a better answer?"

Zaine pulled out a sheet of blank paper immediately upon arrival in the English classroom. He was late, again, but he was going to make up for what he missed by diligent note taking. But to his pleasant surprise, what the teacher was discussing at the moment was stuff he knew well already. Willow hadn't caused him to miss much after all.

Atalanta slid into the seat next to Priam. She wore a crooked smile on her face, mischievous and strange as usual, and Priam knew immediately not to ask what was up unless he wanted a book's worth of commentary. "OJ, as requested," he said simply, sliding a glass of orange juice towards her.

"Thanks brother mine," Atalanta said. She took a quick swallow before handing over the never stated but mentally agreed payment: silverware and a napkin. She waited for him to ask about her morning, but he didn't, so she refrained from saying anything. His loss.

Victor laughed, and replied "Dr. Seuss? We'll go read some Dr. Seuss after class." He smiled, and added "You need to read just a tiny bit more than you do."

Razeth took Laurel's hand and looked at what had caused her to flinch. He made a soft sound and kissed her abused palms gently with reverence.
"All better." Laurel smiled playfully, as she watched Razeth take her hands to kiss them softly.
