Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Areum replied "im always a bit cold in the evening for some reason." She laid back again to finish her cookies, her drink almost finished. She looked out at the horizon, imagining her father was out there somewhere. Happy now, free from the oppression of her mother. A single tear rolled down on her cheek, which she quickly wiped off and went to throw away her wrapper and bottle in the trash to divert the attention away from her tears, which she realized were unnecessary. She realized she cried a lot when she thought of the sat or when she got hurt. She didn't like it, she felt vulnerable and embarrassed about them. But tears were her way of expressing or controlling emotions, rather than other things such as solitude, working out, or meditation. She glanced quickly cover to Rowan as she returned to her seat, a smile accompanying it.
Rowan watched her and took a moment to toss his trash then picked her up and sat with her in a bench type seat with one arm around her. "We are wolves. We aren't meant to be alone."

Andorra flushed and stood. "Oh, right. I'm sorry. As she reached for the door she paused, "Do you want me to bring you something from the cafeteria? " She asked quietly.
Donella smiled softly then got up, coming over to hug her "Yeah, I would like that. Thank you."

"Ok sleep well. I guess I will see you in the morning." Amara said with a nod of her head, a bit sad he was leaving but she couldn't expect him to hang out with her all the time.
Casey smiled at her and patted her hand softly. "Remember, anytime you want to see me, just come to my room."

Rowan watched her and took a moment to toss his trash then picked her up and sat with her in a bench type seat with one arm around her. "We are wolves. We aren't meant to be alone."
Areum gasped at him picking her up, looking into his eyes meekly, a bit nervous. But his words and easy voice calmed her. She asked quietly "What does that mean?", a bit afraid of the answer. She had promised herself to never have a relationship after the failed one of her parents, but deep inside she wanted it, dreamy for her illusion of true love.

Lucy would've screamed if she'd been able to. However, since she couldn't, she simply clung tighter to his thin neck as she anticipated the landing.

Atalanta was about to say for what? but caught herself before. Claire was sorry to hear about her parent's death, naturally. Who wouldn't be. But that was the thing; how many people actually meant the condolences they lavished on those truly suffering. She'd heard enough 'I'm sorry's to last a lifetime, and had long since learned to filter them unemotionally. So she murmured a quiet "thanks" then turned away, shifting her thoughts to a different subject completely.
Victor flapped his arms forcefully, slowing down as he gracefully landed on the windowsill, letting her go inside. He cawed, happy with their successful flight and the chance to scare her a bit.

Claire noticed a sudden mood change in Atalanta, and whispered softly, placing a hand on her shoulder "If you want to talk, I'm here." She took it off as they entered the dining room, and started inspecting her choices to eat while still paying attention to what Atalanta would reply or do.

Lucy shifted immediately after landing. She was trembling a bit, jolted by the landing and the heights. "Well," she finally managed, "that was fun. And terrifying. But fun, so thanks."

"Hm?" Atalanta looked up confusedly at the light touch. She had already shut off the previous subject completely from her mind so Claire's comment threw her for a moment. "Oh, yeah, thanks," she said quickly.
She followed after Claire as they went down the buffet, adding to her plate what she wanted, which at the end amounted to very little. She was a light eater and she saw no reason to take more than necessary.

(Oops, I missed it. )
Vasper smiled at the transformation in Amaryllis. "If that's the case, you should get to eating. " He said with gently.
(10,000 posts everyone!!! :ya)
Amaryllis quietly began to eat small bites of her salad, but after consuming nearly half, she pushed the tray aside, no longer hungry.

Rowan looked at her then shrugged. "Wolves are pack animals, they want to be with other wolves. There are some exceptions, but they usually do not do well alone. Humans are much the same, wanting to be around other people, so we get a double dose of that." He tried to explain.

Areum nodded, understanding. She eased a bit into him, replying "I don't like a lot of people...but you're different. I had fun today. Thanks." She dared to lay her head against his shoulder as he held her.
