Child At Heart, Monster By Nature (A Shape Shifting RP)

Samantha stood, now that the story was finished, and headed towards the taller balance beam nearby. "If you're serious about the grenades, I can hook you up," she said with a wink before giving him her back. She was teasing him, but whether she was serious or not she'd leave him to guess about.

Liam chuckled a little at her comment, yeah like he needed grenades. He watched her move to the balance beam and shook his head, she was certainly interesting. "I think I might head to the pool for a bit, work through somethings. If you need me that is where I will be." He wanted some time to think, he wasn't certain exactly what he needed to think about, he just knew he had some weird things bumping around his head that he wanted to work out. The pool was next to the gym so he figured if she wanted to talk more she could find him there, plus she had brought her iPod so he figured she had intended to use it butt hated yet to be polite.

William smiled at her and reached out and brushed her hair back to expose her ears. He was gentle and moved slowly so she wouldn't panic, and when he had done that he sat back. "You shouldn't hide them, there cute." He said with a smile, he didn't know how she would take the comment so he just left it open for however she wanted to take it.
Leah tensed a bit at him leaning forward, then relaxed as he touched his hair. She blushed as he moved her hair and commented about her ears, before looking down, embarrassed at blushing too much, before asking in a quiet "You think so?"

William nodded, "Way cuter then my crazy dragon skin that is for sure. And nothing that you should feel like you need to hide, certainly not around here or me." He replied with a kind smile. At least around him he didn't want her to feel like she had to hide, no one should live like that in his book.

Leah smiled, finally daring to look up again, a rosy hue still on her cheeks. She replied "You're too kind." She scooted to sit a bit closer to him, not knowing she made it awkward. She was just trying to accustom to talking to humans again."

Areum looked down at the ground and said softly "You don't have to lie to me. I won't tell anyone. We're both wolves, we have to stick together." She smiled a tad at the last part, but the smile seemed melancholy one. She knew he was hiding something.
Rowan frowned at that then sighed and picked up a rock to toss at the waterfall. "Areum. I don't...I'm not telling a lie. To people like you it is nothing and there's nothing you can do so there's no reason for you to get upset or anything. Alright?"

Areum felt her heart break as he said the words "To people to you it is nothing." She nodded solemnly and looked down the waterfall, feeling like crying. She did care, and she wanted to be there for him, but he didn't see that.

Rowan looked to her and frowned "See, you look like you are about to cry. I knew I would say something wrong. I meant that as a good thing you know. You care, you have feelings, you can express those feelings. That's what people like you do. Me, I can't. You can't fix that about me, so there's nothing you can do, no reason to waste your efforts. I'm too broken" But, he didn't want to see her cry or see her sad.

Areum tried not to cry, she didn't want to. She stammered quickly "If you didn't have feelings, then you wouldn't have brought me here so I could enjoy the waterfall. You wouldn't have said hi to me. You wouldn't have let me sleep on your lap."

Samantha watched him from the corner of her eye as she climbed up onto the beam. "See ya," she said, hardly audible but she didn't care to repeat herself. Closing her eyes, she set one heeled foot in front of the other and took a few steadying breaths. She couldn't fall, not again. The gym was pretty empty since most people were still in the dining room, but that almost made it worse. One mistake and the few people would surely glance her way. Her heartbeat sped up considerably as she opened her eyes and in one swift movement pushed herself forward and did a cartwheel. She loosed her breath as she pivoted on her heel to do the same thing back.
