You mentioned a thin shell and possibly the need for grit. Here in the US grit is a granite rock that helps break down hard food. For harder shells, you will want oyster shell, which is a calcium source for your girls. You can also refeed the hens the shells of the eggs they lay, but first clean them well and crush them so they won't recognize it as an egg shell and start eating their own eggs. Your girls look lovely
