We came home one day with supposedly 3 female BO chicks and 3 female RIR chicks. Time goes by and we find out we have 6 RIR chicks. A couple weeks later, one isn't even female! His name is Peep and he is currently 17 weeks old. He doesn't have spurs, he doesn't crow, and he isn't trying to mate yet. So my question is, about what age do production reds start doing this? He's really nice and did't even react when one of the hens tried to eat his tail earlier .

Yes I'm sure.
