Yes, I'm very grateful we are ok. We bought our farm 10 years ago. The plan was to move down there after my husband finished school, get our house ready to sell, and all that good stuff. We were just about all moved into the farmhouse, had just moved all my antique furniture in. Lighting struck our pole light and traveled back to the house. It started in our attic. The worst of all was my husband moved a tractor to get it out of the way before the firetrucks came. He jumped off, slipped, broke his fibula in a few places, tore tendons and ligaments, and then some. He had surgery, with lots of new metal hardware. Plates, wires, and 6 screws to put it back together.
Good news is, we are alive, my dogs and chickens are fine ( we made a coop in the old smokehouse attached to the house) and I had not brought my cats down yet. Thanks to many great friends, I was able to salvage most of the antiques, and many priceless family items.
